Reshaping the petrochemical industry is part of his vision

Sandy Marshall heads Bioindustrial Innovation Canada, helping to set the stage for a renewed future

Sandy Marshall, a chemical engineer who spent virtually his entire career working for a major player in Sarnia’s Chemical Valley, is now heading up an organization that is spearheading something of an industry transformation.

As executive director of Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC), Marshall is continuing momentum created by Dr. Murray McLaughlin, who retired from the organization about a year ago.

In this episode of Spotlight, J.D. Booth of Lambton Shield spoke with Marshall about the strategic direction he’s helping to shape.

The energy in this organization and the surrounding area is palpable and is a source of great optimism for what lies ahead for our area and the reshaping of the petrochemical industry as a whole.
