Sarnia Police ask for help in identifying woman

Woman in 'very agitated state' showed up at police station with young boy; left before officer could speak with her

Sarnia Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a young woman who came by the front desk of the police station with a young boy.

The two arrived on Friday (Feb. 6) at about 3:20 p.m. and the woman asked to speak with an officer. Police said in a media release that the woman appeared to be in a “very agitated state” and left the station before an officer had an opportunity to speak with her. She left with the child and another female in a green minivan with damage to the right rear bumper.

Police are concerned for the welfare of the young woman and the child. At this time there is no evidence of a criminal offense.

A video of the woman was captured on a front desk area police security camera. She has blonde hair and was wearing a pink hoodie.

If you can identify the woman in the video please call Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861
