Sarnia Police say officers responded to two separate incidents over the weekend, one leading to two visits to the same location where excessive noise was the complaint and another where a 20-year-old male was attempting to enter a vehicle occupied by a man who did not know the accused.
In the first incident, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning (Oct. 6), police were called to the 900 block of Colborne Road. The officer arriving on the scene took some time before those inside could hear the police. About 10 minutes later, the noise had resumed but quieted down shortly thereafter.
On Holiday Monday, officers were called to the area of Lakeshore and Murphy Road regarding a disturbance. The man attempting to enter the vehicle was breaching one his conditions and was arrested. Police say they found drugs on the man and arrested him on charges of possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and two counts of breach of probation.
