Sarnia Police stop driver known to be under suspension, passengers arrested on drug charges

Yesterday (July 31) when a Sarnia Police officer saw a car being driven by someone known to having his driver's license under suspension, he made a traffic stop, just before 11 a.m. in the area of Kathleen Avenue and Mitton Street.

Arresting the 23-year-old Sarnia man, the officer subsequently found two of the passengers, a 22-year-old man and 29-year-old man, both from Sarnia, carrying quantities of marijuana (8 grams), cocaine and methamphetamine.

Charges have been laid.
