Sarnia Rotarians gearing up to bring Mackinac watchers breakfast

There's no better way for sailors and landlubbers alike to prepare for the start of the annual Mackinac sailing race than with a plateful of delicious pancakes and sausages – all for the good of Rotary community projects.

The Rotary Club of Sarnia is once again preparing to welcome area residents and visitors to its annual Mackinac Breakfast, on July 23, 2011, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., under the bridge at Point Edward's picturesque Waterfront Park. Tickets are still a bargain at $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and are sold at the park entrance to the event. Proceeds from the event are dedicated to community betterment and international aid projects.

Each meal includes a generous serving of pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee. At your choice, we invite you to support our charitable efforts and contribute to a sustainable world by bringing your own dishware and cutlery.

Contact the Rotary Club of Sarnia for further event details and sponsorship opportunities (519-490-1066, or email us at See you there!

The Rotary Club of Sarnia is supported by the activities of more than 70 members, who are local business and organization leaders representing a variety of vocations. Continuing to live by its motto, "Service above Self," Rotary Sarnia maintains an active program, focusing on special needs children, youth leadership growth, community betterment and vocational ethics, as well as international peace, aid and development.
