Sarnia vice branch has busy day

The Sarnia Police Vice Branch were busy Thursday (Nov. 22), arresting three people in two separate drug incidents.

The first incident occurred in the afternoon after Sarnia Police eventually stopped a car near Sombra, Ontario.  A 49-year-old Sarnia woman was arrested and charged with Possession of Fentanyl, after five patches of 50 milligram  patches were found in her possession. The drugs have a street value of about $600. The accused was later released on a Promise to Appear.

On Thursday evening around 8:20, the Vice Branch, with the assistance of uniformed officers, made entry into a home on Alfred Street while executing a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant.  Two adults, a 46-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, both from Sarnia, were arrested inside.  They were held for bail hearings, charged with Production of Cannabis Resin, Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Oxycodone and Possession of Methamphetamine.
