Students commemorate Day of Remembrance by supporting Victim Services

Several students from the Lambton College Child and Youth Worker program commemorated Canada's National Day of Remembrance and Action on the Violence Against Women Thursday (Dec. 6). The students' “Clothesline Project” included the sale of t-shirts, with proceeds going to Victim Services Sarnia-Lambton. The effort was also designed to bring awareness to the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" campaign for the Women's Interval Home. The walk will take place in June 2013. More information on the campaign is available at www.clotheslineproject.org.
