Teresa Ingles talks about plans for a suicide prevention drop-in centre

Mother hopes work of Deker Bauer Foundation can help someone like her son

On this episode of Spotlight, J.D Booth speaks with Teresa Ingles of the Deker Bauer Foundation for Suicide Prevention about the organization’s plans to open a drop-in centre in Sarnia-Lambton.

It was in August 2014 that Teresa Ingles lost her son to suicide. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to prevent a similar occurrence. The Foundation’s stated mission is “to strive to understand and help prevent suicide through research, education, and advocacy.”
