Transport truck and trailer went off the road on Saturday

A transport truck and attached trailer went off the road Saturday afternoon (Feb. 11, 2012) on westbound 402 just east of Oil Heritage Road.

Lambton OPP wouldn't allow the truck to be towed until today due to harsh conditions that were present when the accident happened.

As of late this morning, the truck and trailer remained on the side of the road, turned over but two trucks from Feenstra Towing were on site ready to lift the rig. Subsequently, Highway 402 was temporarily closed to allow the recovery maneuver.
