Truck driver charged with careless driving after flipping truck on exit ramp

Saturday's single vehicle accident result of driver going too fast, say OPP

A Saturday afternoon accident at the southbound ramp of Highway 402 and Modeland Road appears to be a lesson in how NOT to negotiate the intersection, especially in a loaded vehicle.

A tractor-trailer flipped over into the ditch, closing the ramp for several hours.

The driver of the vehicle, which was the only one involved, was a 26-year-old Hamilton driver who has been charged with careless driving by the OPP.

The box trailer had to be unloaded in order to remove the tractor trailer from the ditch.

No injuries were reported by the OPP.
