It was reported that a 40-year old Sarnia woman allegedly went through a stop sign while traveling west on Michigan when she collided with another vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Sarnia man who was headed west on Michigan.
The female driver is charged with Disobey Stop Sign.
Police said both drivers involved in the crash are still in hospital. The male driver has been transferred to London and is listed in stable condition while the female driver remains at Bluewater Health also listed in stable condition.
The road was closed yesterday while investigators took measurements and removed the vehicles.
The investigation, police said, is still ongoing and witnesses are still being interviewed. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in this collision.
