Viggers, Wayne John, (April 25, 2017)

VIGGERS, Wayne John – 1937 – 2017 Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Bluewater Health Centre, Sarnia, Ontario on April 25th, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Bryson); proud father of sons Dwayne and Darryl; grandfather of four adored grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cherished son of the late Mabel (nee Brown) and the late Emerson Viggers. Predeceased by sister Gloria and brothers Grant, Larry, Billy and Timmy. Wayne will be sadly missed by sisters Sharon Olsen (Leif), Janie Spilchin (Paul), Candace Font (Moe), Bonnie Viggers, brothers Terry Viggers (Joyce), Richard Viggers (Sherry) and Guy Viggers (Sue) and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne was born in Pembroke, Ontario and although spent his early formative years in the Sarnia area, he was primarily raised in downtown Toronto (affectionately known as Cabbagetown) where he attended the Duke of York School. As a young adult, Wayne was considered one of the best professional snooker players in Canada. For many years Wayne worked at Lever Bros until he subsequently retired and moved to Sarnia. Cremation has taken place.
