Sarnia born soap opera star and TV host Cameron Mathison had his career hit off not too long ago in January of 1998 when he joined the cast of "All of My Children". Mathison attended McGill University in Montreal and graduated with a Bachelor of civil engineering degree but clearly had more of a passion for acting. He had earlier appeared in television shows such as "The Drew Carey Show" (1995), "F/X The Series" (1996), and "Any Mother's Son" (1997). Mathison made his feature film debut in 1998 as well in "54" and continued to appear in the Canadian independent film "Washed Up" in 2000. One of the most recent and prominent of his feature in his works was starring in ABC Family's "See Jane Date" and "Hope and Faith" both in 2003. Some of Mathison's biggest achievements include receiving the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer in 1999 and a daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2002. Mathison also was on the hit TV show "Dancing with the Stars" in 2007 showing off the fact he is a triple threat from Sarnia, ON.
