If you know what all the hype's about, you're a fan of pro wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment and Smackdown! You'll want to know the Stamford-based WWE is bringing its mix of athletics and theatrics to the RBC Centre in September.
The World Wrestling Entertainment Smackdown World Tour will make an action-packed stop at the RBC Centre on Sat., Sep. 22.
Some of the professional wrestlers that are slated to be on the card include current World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Daniel Bryan, current Intercontinental Champion Christian, Cody Rhodes and WWE Diva Natalya.
The show is not a taping for television, but officials have promised a no-holds-barred, high-impact night of entertainment with some of their most popular superstars.
The current tour includes five stops, with other shows scheduled in Hamilton Sep. 8 at Copps Coliseum, Kingston Sep. 9 at the K-Rock Centre, Ottawa Sep. 11 at Scotiabank Place and London Sep. 23 at the John Labatt Centre.
RBC Centre assistant general manager Ryan Chamney told LambtonShield.com there will be a news conference at the RBC Centre to announce the event Monday and tickets are expected to be on sale for the event Jul. 28. at 10 a.m.
